At the 14th COBEP (Brazilian Power Electronic Conference) last year four of our scientific staff were represented with their research results.
The conference was held in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, November 19-22, 2017. The main topics of the conference were among many others also the consideration of electrical machines as well as different power electronics topologies.
A special highlight of the conference was the award for Best Paper of the conference which Prof. Dr.-Ing Nejila Parspour and Marcel Maier received for themselves. The paper is published under the title "Construction and Measurements of an Electrical Excited Synchronous Machine with Inductive Contactless Energy Transfer to the Rotor" and deals with the measurement of the first prototype of an inductively excited electric synchronous machine.
