The Covid 19 pandemic is making the current conference schedule different than usual. International conferences are difficult to realize due to travel restrictions. Nevertheless, the IEW published this year again at the "Virtual Conferences" that were created in this way. Among other exciting publications, the papers

"Semi-Analytical Calculation of a Laminated Transverse Flux Machine
at the International Conference on Electrical Machines were honored for the Best Paper and Best Poster Presentation Awards.
