On November 22, 2023, Jannis Noeren completed the defence of his dissertation at the IEW. For this achievement
congratulations from the bottom of our hearts.
In his dissertation, he dealt with the model predictive control of inductive energy transfer systems. For this purpose, he developed a model to describe the transient response and made a comparison between several control methods of two-sided active power electronics. With this work, he made a fundamental contribution to the maximisation of the efficiency of a charging system over the entire operating range and especially under partial load.
