IEW received a visit from Greece from Professor Vasilios Ilioudis from the International Hellenic University (IHU) in Thessaloniki on July 18 and 19. Professor Ilioudis gave very interesting lectures on "Sliding Mode Observers for Sensorless Control of Synchronous Machines" for interested staff and students at IEW. On both days of the visit, there were also many stimulating discussions with lively exchanges on a professional level.
