On Friday, September 23, 2022, members and students of the Förderverein GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart e.V. set the acceleration world record for electric vehicles. The electric racing car developed by the team accelerated in the process accelerated
from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.461 s
and thus set the previous best time of 1.513s.
The iew congratulates the GreenTeam and everyone else involved for the world record. We are very happy about the positive results from the cooperation between the team and our institute in the field of development and testing of the e-machines of the race car.
Furthermore, we congratulate the team for the very successful ended season in the Formula Student Electric competition. At the same time we keep our fingers crossed for the team for the upcoming season and future challenges.
