12th IEW Conference on Inductive Charging within the Haus der Technik
For the 12th time the IEW held the 2-day conference Inductive Charging. This is a training course in which Prof. Parspour explains the basics of contactless energy transmission. Some external lecturers from other universities and companies are also guests. Presentations were given on inductive systems in the automotive sector, as well as foreign object heating. Standardisation aspects were mentioned. Combined energy and data transmission was just as much a topic as inductive charging of linear systems. The event was concluded with charging infrastructures for electromobility.
On the first evening, the participants were given a laboratory tour of the IEW, where numerous prototypes, demonstrators and test stands were visited, as well as the new parking lot for inductive charging.
